Jet Patriot needs to appeal to the masses

Ladies and gentlemen I find myself in a bit of trouble. No not any kind of trouble that will do me harm, but trouble none the less.

I just started this blog today and I need to get out there to the masses and I need my voice to be heard. How to do that? I do not know...Help me fellow conservatives and freedom lovers help me get Jet Patriot in the hearts and minds of other people.

Like Uncle Sam I need YOU to be my voice and to be my grassroots campaign. Like I say in my bio my voice is your voice and without your voice and your passion for this great nation of ours my voice would not be this powerful.

Please send suggestions on how to get my blog noticed to jetpatriot@gmail.com

God Bless America,

Jet Patriot

Also, whenever you make a comment on someone else's blog, you are leaving a link there. Anyone who reads that blog can just click on your name and get to your blog, so in a sense, you are not just inviting the blog author, but also anyone else who wants to come and visit. Every time you leave a comment, it is another link. That's how you got me.

I don't even look at blog rolls. There's too much over selection there, but I do occasionally click on peoples names when they make comments on the blogs I visit.

Since I'm a slow reader, I can only follow a limited number of blogs, but I may be by on occasion. We'll see.

So far I like the fact that your blog entries are short. I have trouble keeping up with long winded bloggers.

Hey Jet: Gayle's a friend, and any friend of hers is a friend of mine.

A good trick is to post all for your entries at RealClearPolitics in the "vote on articles" section at the bottom.

Go to RealClearPolitics after you write a post you're proud of, and you'll get a few visitors.

But the main thing, like Gayle said, is to get involved with a blog community. These folks become your blogging buddies, and it's just wonderful the people you meet.

Also, write often, and link, link, link to the blogs you love.

It takes a while, but you'll have a regular readerhip after a spell.

Write what you feel is important and do something frequently. And what Lista and Don say goes for me too. The more you write and get around the more comfortable folks become with you and what you write.

And try to spell correctly. We tend to leave horrendous spelling to the trolls.

Thanks, Donald, for your suggestion about RealClearPolitics. That's a great place, not just for bloggers, but even for someone who is just trying to find something of above average quality to read because this is where bloggers post what they consider to be the best of their articles. It is a good way to find a blogger that one likes without having to read though pages and pages of blog entries before finding something that is really special.

Thanks for writing this entry, Jet. I've decided that I'm going to follow the comments for awhile to see what I can learn about blogging. Who knows, maybe I'll even join the club by starting my own blog some day. I'm thinking about it, but haven't decided yet whether to jump in and do it or not.

Hello again. I hope that you don't get tired of me. It's sort of quiet here. I wonder where the blog author is.

Anyway, I was just getting ready to refer this page to another new blogger, but before I do, I wanted to try and remember what was in the first post that was deleted, not because of rudeness, but simply because she requested it for the sake of privacy. It seems to me, there was an Email address on it, yet the entry itself was actually quite helpful and informative.

If memory serves me right, she spoke of creating a blog roll with links to other blogs in the hope that they will reciprocate and do the same in return. Even though, I have stated that I don't often look at blog rolls because to me it is over selection, doesn't mean that others don't look at them. On some blogs that you do not have the chance to visit as often and make comments to, the blog roll link might be your only link and it is always there whether you are there or not.

She also spoke of joining blog communities and of getting a program that counts the hits on your blog.

BTW, Jet, on the blog that you left the link on that found me, the blog author did respond and offered to reciprocate blog links with you. I'm having a little trouble giving you a direct link to the page in which he made you this offer, but here is a link to his blog.

His offer is in the comment area of the entry entitled "Barack Obama, Jeremiah Wright and Marxist-Based Liberation Theology". It was the 5th entry down when I wrote this comment.
